Job Description

The Director, Sales Effectiveness will be a driving force in LSEG transition from a single-product orientation to a solution orientation to meet customer needs. They will do this by providing coaching, tools training, and change management support for our global sales organization.

This team member will deploy and embed LSEG’s new world-class sales methodology that aims to improve performance at scale, create a common culture/language, and support a consistent execution cadence.

This team member will find ways to drive critical KPI’s, such as total sales, win rates, deal size and cycle time, by improving efficiency and effectiveness of our Sellers and Leaders.

We’re seeking someone who sets a high bar for the quality of their work and at their core strives to make a positive and measurable impact across the sales organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Trains and drives adoption, sustainment, and reinforcement efforts of LSEG’s world class sales methodology to improve sales performance
- Builds content using adult learning principals that helps drive sales skills acumen and improvement of sales results.
- Conducts needs assessments and “spot checks” to ensure consistent global adoption of key sales skill programs
- Uncovers methods and brings best practices to gain maximum value out of current (and future additions) sales tool tech stack
- Provides ongoing coaching to reinforce and protect our investments in our methodology
- Helps build and deploy, in cross-functional partnership with other teams, an ongoing certification program to drive globally consistent messaging across the sales organization
- Reports and measures impact through KPIs / metrics as well as provides recommendations for further adoption, reinforcement, and sustainment initiatives to track achievement of key performance outcomes
- Applies a blended learning approach when appropriate for training program initiatives: in-person classroom, virtual instructor-led, and on demand recording

Skills/Experience
- 6+ years of supporting B2B sales teams in a variety of capacities (i.e. coaching leaders and sales professionals, developing and delivering training on sales tools, sales skills, sales methodology, sales process)
- Prior or current certifications in sales methodologies or opportunity qualification frameworks (i.e. Miller Heiman), or has experience deploying sales methodologies or delivered associated training
- Knowledge of adult learning principals and how to develop content that adheres to these principals and supports sales success
- Ability to develop learning experiences for one-to-one, one-to-few, and one-to-many
- Experience using CRM tools - i.e., Salesforce (CRM), ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator,
- Go global / act local mentality with experience working with global teams
- Experience driving culture change within an organization
- Works well autonomously as well in a team environment
- Proven background in facilitating leadership and sales training as well as coaching to drive key reinforcement and adoption of sales development programs
- Effective communicator, facilitator, and collaborator
- Strong project management skills who is proactive, collaborative, and meets deadlines
- Former experience as a B2B sales professional
- Bachelors Degree
