**PURPOSE AND SCOPE**
- The incumbent will be part of the team responsible for managing, optimizing and managing the LNG and piped natural gas supply and demand portfolio, including market risk management. The incumbent will be required to be proficient with gas and LNG contracts in the portfolio and assist in the development of plans, management of supplies & sales, and execution of relevant transactions.

**KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Account management for existing piped natural gas and LNG suppliers/customers.
- Assist in securing competitive short-term gas supply, spot LNG supply and/or spot gas/LNG sales.
- Risk management of LNG & piped natural gas portfolio as well as management of market exposures.
- Assist in managing existing piped natural gas and LNG supply portfolio.
- Execute commercial transactions to achieve target financial performance.
- Execution of optimization plan for gas portfolio to achieve highest possible gain.
- Negotiate and execute agreements leading up to execution of the master sales and purchase agreements with LNG players.
- Work closely with Gas Market Operations and Power Market Operations to implement plans and operationalize transactions.
- Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to manage and enable transactions.

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Degree in Business or Engineering related discipline or higher.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the natural gas/ LNG/ electricity industry preferred.
- Experienced in dealing with different oil and gas indexes as well as associated financial instruments.
- Good understanding of Singapore electricity and natural gas market including Gas Network Code.
- Good understanding of the international LNG market
- Experience and ability to negotiate commercial agreements will be an advantage.
