Singapore VOLEX ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. Full time

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Develop and perform design calculations for ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation), HVAC, and Control Systems
- Prepare construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
- Oversee and coordinate M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) services on-site including installation, testing, and commissioning activities
- Monitor project schedules and work programs to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Determine project specifications by analyzing product designs, customer requirements, and performance standards
- Conduct technical studies and prepare cost estimates
- Liaise with clients, main contractors, and consultants to track project progress and address project-related matters
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely material delivery
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
- Supervise subcontractors’ work to ensure quality output aligned with client requirements
- Assist the Project Manager in evaluating progress claims and verifying quantities and quality of completed work
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management

**Job requirements & skills**
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in ACMV system design and supervision
- Required Skill(s): Lots of initiative, Great organizational skills, Confident decision-making ability, Excellent communications skills, The ability to work within budgets and to deadlines, Good team-leading skills, Able to work under pressure, Good interpersonal skills and pro-active in problem-solving
- Specialization in ACMV engineering is preferred
- 5.5-day work week
