A panel beater’s typical duties and responsibilities include the following:

- Assessing vehicles for damage and providing quotes and insurance reports
- Removing damaged parts
- Perform welding, pulling and adjustment on body panel structures and frames using Jigs & Fixtures or Chassis Alignment
- Using specialist tools and machinery, e.g. hydraulic equipment and pneumatic saws
- Straightening damaged panels or creating new ones
- Filling holes and hammering dents out of panels
- Spraying panels with paint to match the vehicle colour
- Deliver work within stipulated repair time
- Carry out panel and structural repair work in a safe and efficient manner
- Carry out aluminum repair work
- Ensure and maintain a consistently high quality of work on vehicles
- At least 10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE in body repair / panel beating on passenger cars
- Able to work on weekends and commit to OT
- Other duties as assigned
- Team player with good discipline and positive attitude
