Singapore AP OIL PTE. LTD. Full time

The Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) has primary responsibility for the Finance function of the Group, to lead and direct the finances team comprising Asst Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Senior Accountant, Accounts Specialist and Executives.

As a senior member of the Group Management team, the CFO will take the lead to work closely with internal stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives leveraging on strong industry and competitive insights. This position will report directly to the CEO and is lead supporting executive to the Board of Directors on corporate finance, financial accounting, audit and tax matters.

**Key Responsibilities**

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Develop Group plans and budgets in line with Group strategy and tactical plan. Monitor performance through review, analysis and taking corporate action to improve business performance;
- Understand the businesses and risk profile of the Group, and develop procedures and processes to mitigate risk exposure and support business decisions to enhance profitability of the Group;
- Understand and monitor Group risk exposure arising from business, regulatory and customer obligations;
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and SGX Listing requirements; and be the Lead executive in support of the Risk Management committee;
- Primary responsibility to ensure integrity of the Group’s accounting and reporting systems and processes;
- Oversee delivery of timely and quality financial reports of the Group and subsidiaries;
- Develop and maintain effective system of internal controls;
- Responsible for tax, audit, treasury, cash management and ERP matters;
- Lead Accounts department including career development and employee retention;
- Oversee financial matters of overseas subsidiaries;
- Advise Group Management and the Board on financial effect and implications of business decisions;
- Monitor Group cashflow, ensure efficient use of capital and responsible for managing relationships with banks, including adequacy of bank facilities;
- Support CEO and the Board in M&A and JV decisions and activities; and
- Undertake ad-hoc and special projects as assigned by the CEO.

**Profile / Requirements**
- Qualified CA or CFA or equivalent from accredited university
- Work experience of at least 15-20 years
- Experience in a SGX Listco and regional work responsibilities
