Operate the process accordance with the Standard of Operations and comply strictly to safety, quality and environmental guidelines.
- Patrol plant process, confirm the condition of process and equipment.
- Collect and analyze samples for product quality and process evaluation.
- Charge chemicals into reactor manually
- Report all process/equipment/environmental abnormalities, incidents and/or near misses. Take part in further investigation when required.
- Assist in coordination of daily maintenance planning, and participate in maintenance activities and shutdown/start-up of sections.
- Improve production status and equipment performance on productivity and quality.
- Adhere to Company and departmental procedures, SHEQ rules and regulations, and GMP (good manufacturing practices) at all times.
- Carry out scheduled housekeeping activities.
- Ensure proper handover and takeover during shift changes.
- Participate as CERT (company emergency response team) member. Job Requirements
- Diploma/NITEC in Chemical Process Technology/Chemical Engineering/ Mechanical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of working experiences in chemical manufacturing plant.
- Experience in operating polymerization unit and extrusion unit with automated control would be an added advantage.
- Possesses basic knowledge of maintenance, chemical engineering and analytical procedures.
- An effective team player with good communication skills.
- Must be able to work on 12-hours rotating shift in Jurong Island.

**Salary**: $2,100.00 - $3,500.00 per month
