**Responsibilities**:

- Assist General Manager - Data Management in ensuring that Database Management methodologies & standards are efficient, effective, and able to contribute to the achievement of business goals; ensure systems documentation and standards being applied during the development cycle.
- Lead and implement IT general controls (ITGC) process compliance with SOX for databases under SOX.
- Lead, Monitor and implement database storage capacity planning for all databases.
- Recommend and implement improvements and upgrades of Oracle database software to ensure high systems availability and performance.
- Provide database system administration for Mission Critical Oracle DB, MySQL, MSSQL servers operating in various platforms (e.g., Linux, Windows Server).
- Support Oracle Financials as a Applications DBA
- Manage and support Oracle Internet Application Server (iAS)
- Review & Implement security enforcement on Database servers to ensure data security and integrity.
- Play a key role in the achievement of DB Management process objectives, budgets & continuous improvement targets.
- Develop database backup strategy and assist operation to implement it.
- Perform DB server documentation to enable continuity support provided by other team members.
- Maintain 99.99% availability of DB servers and report failures to IS managers for problem resolution.
- Actively monitor DB server performance to meet high system availability requirement.

**Requirements**:

- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or any equivalent discipline from an accredited University or college.
- At least 6 plus years of experience in managing Oracle & MySQL database in various operating platform.
- Able to manage and support Oracle Internet Application Server (iAS)
- Able to manage and support Oracle Financials Applications DBA.
- Strong experience in database performance tuning and recovery.
- Good experience in various operating systems e.g., Linux, and Windows Server.
- Good experience in operating in multi-cultural environments.
