Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Edge Team) As a Principal Software QA Engineer in our new Edge innovation group, you will - Accelerate the delivery and overall improve the quality of products by developing and executing test plans that ensure the best possible customer experience - Have the passion for developing and supporting the growth of next-generation software architectures, show enthusiasm towards learning new technologies, and inspire innovation within the team - Manage complex, cross-functional Program Increments, and Agile Deliveries - Be comfortable discussing / explaining - technical decisions and trade-offs with Engineering and Management teams - Work closely with cross-functional groups including internal stakeholders (Product Managers, Engineers, Architects, etc.), and external customers/vendors to formalize program and project testing requirements. **Requirements**: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (master’s degree preferred) or relevant experience - At least 10-12 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Testing, Automation framework design (desirable), or related experience - Experience writing test cases in Rust, Golang, Java, or Python - Experience building and executing automated scripts or experience with automation and performance tools e.g., Selenium/Web driver, Cucumber, Postman, Karate, JMeter, LoadRunner - Ability to analyze requirements, develop a test strategy and test plan, create and execute manual and automated test cases, track defects and report results - Experience with Atlassian’s suite of products (JIRA, Stash, Confluence, etc.) - Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills Good to have: - Certifications such as Certified Software Testing Professional or Certified Software Quality Analyst will be an added advantage - Knowledge of Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus - Knowledge of server, storage, networking, virtualization, and HCI concepts is a plus Dell Technologies is a unique family of businesses that helps organizations and individuals build their digital future and transform how they work, live and play—providing customers with the industry’s broadest and most innovative technology and services portfolio.
