We believe that making it easier for sellers to sell and safer for buyers to buy used-electronics and smartphones is a critical step to achieving that. Laku6's technology integrated with Carousell’s regional platform of tens of millions of users will make buying and selling used electronics more accessible than ever before for millions of users; this will extend the life-cycle of electronics goods and slow down the growth of e-waste.

The Trade-In promoter will be responsible for promoting and facilitating smartphone trade-ins at key events. This role involves direct customer engagement, facilitating smooth trade-in transactions, and ensuring promotional materials are visible and effective.

Key Responsibilities:
Trade-In Process Support:

- Assist store teams with conducting diagnostics tests for customer trade-ins.
- Facilitate smooth interactions between customers and staff during the trade-in process.

Customer Engagement & Education:

- Actively approach and engage with visitors to educate them on the trade-in offers and process.
- Highlight the benefits of the trade-in program and encourage participation.
- Address customer inquiries and guide them step-by-step through the process.

Promotional Material Management:

- Ensure all trade-in promotional materials are prominently displayed and well-maintained.
- Distribute flyers and promotional content to attract potential customers.

**Qualifications**
- Proactive & Initiative-Taking:
Ability to engage with customers, troubleshoot issues, and independently manage trade-in processes.
- Exceptional Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to educate and persuade customers clearly and effectively. Comfortable communicating with store staff and stakeholders to address any concerns.
- Customer Service Excellence:
Friendly, approachable, and customer-oriented demeanor with a strong ability to handle inquiries and provide solutions.
- Organizational Skills:
Attention to detail in checking the visibility and quality of promotional materials (POSM) and ensuring the trade-in process runs smoothly.

**Additional Information**
- Hourly Rate: $13 per hour
- Work Schedule:

- Three weekends starting from 20 September
- Working hours between 9am-9pm (up to 10 hrs with 2 x 1 hr breaks)
- Opportunities for extended hours during high-traffic periods.
