The role requires you to manage the critical NTU internet, local leased circuit, internet peering, prioritize and control bandwidth, security (firewall, IPS, VPN), and DDI (DHCP, DNS, IP management) to ensure high availability, optimal internet, and intranet network service and protect the campus resources against cyber attacks.

Responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and supporting the transformation of NTU infrastructure covering new automation initiatives, secure edge secure access, and internet connectivity technology.

You need to have in-depth knowledge and experience in the internet service provider network management & security technologies and approaches. (BGP, DMZ design, Firewall, IPS, VPN, Site-to-site VPN, IPSec, DDI, proxies, DDos, Qos) In addition, you need to manage the NTU intranet server farm firewalls, connection to SGIX, Singaren Open Exchange, National Research and Education networks, and Internet service providers.

**Requirements**:

- A recognized diploma/degree in IT or Engineering
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- ITIL Foundation
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in internet service provider network and firewall administration and two years in project management
- In-depth knowledge and experience in the internet service provider network management & security technologies and approaches. (BGP, DMZ design, Firewall, IPS, VPN, Site-to-site VPN, IPSec, DDI, proxies, DDos, Qos)
- Hands-on experience with equipment from Allot, Brocade, Ciena, Cisco, Checkpoint, Gigamon, Palo Alto, Infoblox, PulseSecure
- Good Knowledge of Internet security techniques, network forensic, latest protocols, and defenses against new viruses and other attacks
- Experience in identifying strengths and weaknesses of different internet and security technologies and architectures
- Experience in network automation scripting, Ansible, Python, Perl, REST API
- Experience in architecting IP carrier telecommunications networks protocols used by carriers to implement IP networks, including BGP, MPLS, and OSPF
- Experience in network and PC, configuration, troubleshooting skills
- Experience in Linux, Windows system administration
- Understanding network function virtualization (NFV), software-defined networking (SDN) including OpenFlow, Netconf, etc.
