Restaurant Host/hostess

**Job Summary**:
The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests and plays a vital role in delivering excellent customer service. This role is responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing waiting lists, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming dining experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage reservations and attend to walk-ins guests.
- Assign tables according to server rotation and guest preferences.
- Maintain accurate waitlists and communicate estimated waiting times.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus with a smile.
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or take reservations.
- Communicate guest needs or special requests to the FOH team.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the reception and entrance areas.
- Uphold company standards for appearance, attitude, and hygiene.

**Job Requirements**:

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer-service oriented.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Previous experience in F&B or hospitality will be an advantage.
