APAC CD&S Commercials - Senior Director Commercial clients are a critical trading segment for CME Group globally. The APAC Client Development & Sales (CD&S) Senior Director - Commercials will embody the experience, ambition and deep understanding of the trading and hedging needs of regional commercial clients, and with a strategic mindset will drive outsize revenue growth in the APAC region. responsible for delivering against revenue targets and accelerating growth for a portfolio of segment specific accounts across a number of asset classes. Strong sales leadership capabilities, extensive industry experience, and a track record of success in growing relevant businesses are required. The role will also encompass people leadership responsibility for the regional Commercials segment, ensuring team alignment with global sales initiatives, engagement with local planning and execution, while fostering a positive, diverse and inclusive culture and environment. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: - Create and maximize individual client relationships within the segment to identify opportunities to increase use of CME Group products across all asset classes. This includes the creation and effective execution of account plans for existing clients. - Create sales targets / budgets based on Business Line Management plans. - Create strategies and account plans that demonstrate both a deep understanding of the overall client segment as well as knowledge of the client's business and strategy that is also in alignment with CME Group strategy. - Utilize the CRM system in a way that creates synergies and allows others to capitalize on the information. - Independently guide decisions that represent and support broad interests of CME Groups internal functions when working with clients. - Manage and be accountable for growing a portfolio of key clients. - Responsible for the creation and successful execution of the large portion of the overall segment strategy. Directly responsible for managing a team, and effectively coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of actions and resources against strategic account plans and strategy. Skills & Qualification Requirements: - Deep domain expertise in client development and sales within the regional Commercials space, preferably in a multi-asset class background - In-depth understanding of CME Group’s critical Commercial clients and their position in the industry - Demonstrated ability to interact with senior-level contacts internally and externally - Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently - Ability to mentor and lead a team - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to follow-through on longer sales cycles - Over 12 years of proven track record in financial derivatives sales to and / or account management for Commercial clients. 5+ years' experience leading a sales team. Education: - Bachelor’s degree in economics, Math's, Finance or a related field.
