**Core Responsibilities**:
The role will cover advisory to B2B offline business across APAC market (including BU JP, KR, HK and SEA, excluding BU IN and ANZ) and China Market. For the covered areas:

- Evaluate and advise on the tax impact for projects and ad hoc advisories.
- Being a strong link to Tax Operations & Compliance team and Business Process &Information team to ensure tax governance and accurate tax process.
- Responsible for handling tax audits and enquiries in APAC and collaborate with the Tax Policy & Controversy Director. Managing relationships with local tax authorities.
- Tax Risk & opportunity management and work with Planning & Structuring team to assure the mitigation plan is pursued.
- Supervise local legislation & advises on applicability in line with framework set by Tax Policy & Controversy director.

What is not covered in this role are business areas of Operations, PMD, Retail and Ecommerce across APAC and China markets.

**Do you have what it takes?**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax, law would be preferred.
- ACCA preferred or other equivalent qualifications.
- 10 +years’ work experience in Tax (covering direct taxes and indirect taxes) would be preferred.
- Consumer goods and retail proven experience required.
- APAC and China related experience required.
- Big 4 plus in-house experience preferred.
- Proficient English required, Chinese, Japanese or Korean language skill is a plus.
- Collaborative and growth mindset to work with a diversified global team.
- International travel required at roughly 20% level.
