**Job Roles and Qualifications**:
***A Tableau Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Tableau. They work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand the data requirements and design visualizations that provide insights and support decision-making.

The key responsibilities of a Tableau Developer include:

- Data Analysis: Collecting, analyzing and interpreting complex data from various sources in order to provide meaningful insights to business stakeholders.
- Design and Development: Developing and implementing custom visualizations, dashboards, and reports that meet the business requirements.
- Data Modeling: Creating logical and physical data models to support the design and development of Tableau reports and dashboards.
- Testing: Performing unit testing of reports and dashboards to ensure that they meet the specifications and requirements.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Identifying and resolving issues with existing reports and dashboards, and providing support to end-users.
- Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that business requirements are met and solutions are delivered on time.
- Documentation: Documenting the design, development, and maintenance of reports and dashboards, as well as creating user manuals and training materials for end-users.
- Continuous Improvement: Keeping up-to-date with the latest Tableau features and functionality, and identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.

To be successful in this role, a Tableau Developer should have 3-5 years’ experience in Tableau. Can read Python. Experience in Business Objects (BO). They should also have good stakeholder management skills, good communications skills, able to take ownership of project and actively seek feedback and improvement areas.
