Tuas, Singapore HSM Marine Engineering Pte. Ltd. Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing and supervising the workshop personnel in performing maintenance and repair services to marine vessels including routine maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs, and inspections.
- Prioritizing work schedules for repairs, rebuilds and maintenance.
- Directing and supervising workshop staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Managing and reporting workplace incidents and safety breaches.
- Sourcing quotes for materials and supplies.
- Scoping and estimating costs and timeframes for maintenance work.
- Delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Manage the workmanship on all safety & HSSE compliance.
- Enforce safety standards and processes.
- Preparing detailed reports daily/weekly & monthly basis as requested.
- Undertaking store administration duties such as managing store budgets.
- Monitoring inventory levels and ordering new items.
- Planning and scheduling workloads and assigning tasks to workshop staff.
- Manage data in spreadsheets and reports
- Keep records and reports up to date
- Manage transport system, lorries & drivers for logistics in all purpose on demand.
- Manage daily manpower arrangement & allocation of worker to various projects on requested by the project managers
- Ensure that the landscape/well-being of the company property is always in a presentable condition.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Maritime engineering or a related field.

2. At least 3 years of experience in handling marine workshop.

3. Strong knowledge of marine and general maritime principles.

4. Being able to read and interpret drawings would be an advantage.

5. Strong leadership and organizational skills.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
