Group Accountant/finance Manager

Managing the corporate month-end accounting process
- Manage the monthly financial closing process for the Group, including the review and compilation of reporting packages from all subsidiaries.
- Assist in the preparation of Board meeting materials and Nasdaq results announcements.
- Support group-level budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring activities.
- Managing the monthly variance analysis and providing commentary on the financial performance
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to resolve audit matters in a timely manner.
- Review tax computations and liaise with tax agents to ensure compliance.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, listing requirements, and Group financial policies.
- Undertake ad-hoc assignments and provide support for finance-related projects as required.
- Supervising junior accounting staff.
**Requirement**:
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent; CPA/CA qualification is an advantage
- Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in group reporting or consolidation
- Prior experience in external audit is preferred, particularly with audit of group accounts
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Hands-on experience in group consolidation and preparation of consolidated financial statements
- Meticulous, well-organised, and able to meet tight reporting deadlines
- A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
