**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Mission**

You'll lead the Operations team, that is passionate about ensuring day-to-day operations of our fast-growing business run smoothly. You have an eye for details and ability to get things done quickly, whilst at the same time making improvements to continually enhance and streamline operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Be in charge of day-to-day operations, including supervising daily cash and treasury management, client setup, coordinating with payment processing partners and ensuring that payouts, refunds and reconciliation of payments is done on time and is 100% accurate.
- Lead a team of operations professional and drive decisions around resource allocation and planning, to maximise productivity
- Lead monthly regulatory reporting’s for our payment partners and regulatory bodies.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with our third party operational partners (banks, network partners, payment processors and other fintechs).
- Work closely with product and technical teams to suggest and implement product design enhancements that will streamline and improve operations.
- Work closely with compliance team to ensure adherence to our risk management framework to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, internal and external KYC requirements, and compliance with transaction monitoring guidelines.
- Create monthly analytical reports and insights on the company’s financial operations to guide strategy on margin improvements and pricing.
- Work cross functionally to support sales and marketing to deliver an exceptional user experience on CardUp.

**Requirements**:

- At least 8+ years of experience in an operations role within the payments / fintech sector
- Deep understanding of operations and data analytics, experience in payment processing a plus
- Self-starter, entrepreneurial mind set with drive and initiative to solve problems and get things done.
- Flexible and able to multi-task; fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment, driving toward clarity and solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
- Excellent communication skills and personal qualities of integrity, credibility and quality.
- Strong command of the English language (written and verbal).
- Minimum BSc / BA, MBA a plus

CardUp is a credit card enablement platform, which enables the payment or collection of big expenses using credit card, in places where cards are not accepted today. Examples of payments include rent, tax, invoices, payroll and more, which are still paid by cash, cheque or bank transfer.
