**Responsibilities we will trust you with**:
Recommendations may be reviewed for soundness of judgement but are usually regarded as technically accurate and feasible. System Integrator makes responsible decisions on matters assigned, including the establishment of professional engineering standards and procedures, consults, recommends and advises in speciality engineering areas. Work is carried out within broad guidelines requiring conformity with overall objectives, relative priorities and necessary cooperation with other units. Informed professional engineering guidance may be available.

**Your day-to-day**:

- Preparing definition documents to align with project targets relating to costs, deadlines and quality, and participating in the product integration and verification phases.
- Supporting the planning and coordination of program software integration activities, and delivering software integration services for systems and/or sub-systems of products.
- Defining and leading testing activities (regression, interface, simulation scenarios and test tools).
- Product installation, configuration, data management, performance monitoring and systems administration.
- Leading the integration & block testing of incremental software releases for products and/or projects, in accordance with the schedule.
- Providing expert technical support and the setup of environments to developers, testers and end users, and providing support to the software integration team, development and validation teams during the implementation and operational phase of the project.
- Identifying risks and proposing effective solutions.
- Defining and leading testing activities (regression, interface, simulation scenarios and test tools)
- Manage the starting aspects of projects and programmes assigned during solution stage.
- Manage projects and programmes holistically, including their inter-dependencies and interfaces, to realise the intended benefits and value.
- Proactive in managing project on its operational risks and issues, and willing to challenge the status quo for continuous improvement.
- Work in partnership with BUs to analyse business requirements and challenges to transform them into functional and non-functional requirements whether for tender or internal usage.
- Perform all aspects of vendor management, including the sourcing, contract administration, procurement, and payment matters.
- Contribute and provide technical support and expertise on projects, programmes, and other technical matter when consulted.

**Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role**:

- Excellent understanding of software integration and testing processes including regression, interface, simulation scenarios and test tools
- Proven experience of integration and verification of software / hardware components on large, complex, software-based systems
- Practical experience with programming languages such as; Java, Shell Scripting, Python and continuous integration tools such as Git and Jenkins
- Solid experience in using Windows/UNIX/Linux operating systems, binary and source level debugging tools, Requirement/Test and Defect Management Systems
- Familiar with project management methodology and lifecycle would be an advantage.
- Good working knowledge and hands on experience in one or more IT technical domains - coding, database, network, system administration, cybersecurity, hardware, Cloud computing.
- Familiarity with web and mobile programming and markup languages would be an advantage.
- Good working knowledge and hands on experience in Cloud administration with AWS/Azure.
- Good troubleshooting skills in diagnosing technical issues and ability to offer advisories and support.
