**What you'll do**:
As a **Junior Operator **you will be part of the Finance & Operations team of ACT Singapore, which operates as a key hub across Asia providing support for our teams in Singapore, China and Japan.

This position offers a dynamic and challenging environment as we experience rapid growth, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, software implementations, and overall business growth.

By joining our team, you will get the change to play a vital role within the Finance & Operations team, supporting the origination of renewable energy certificates, and the execution of trades for our international product and client portfolio, with an both an efficiency and risk management mindset. Additionally, our collaboration with the broader operations team based in Amsterdam and New York ensures seamless global operations.

In a nutshell, your tasks will be:

- Providing operational support for commercial teams;
- Settling all approved deals, across multiple countries and regions;
- Making sure positions are reconciled across platforms and systems;
- Troubleshooting settlement issues,
- Supporting the registration of assets and the process of issuance of renewable energy certificates (RECs) from such assets;
- Partnering with cross-functional teams on process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk
- Contributing to the development of innovative ideas and solutions to address business challenges.

**Who you are**:

- BSc graduate in Business Administration or related field;
- 1-5 years of experience in the field of Operations. Preference for a trading environment
- Fluent in **English/Chinese **as a requirement. Other languages are a plus
- Intermediate level of Excel skills and comfort with systems
- Detail oriented and precise
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of, and interest in, energy and carbon markets
- Self-starter mentality, good at working independently, focuses on commercial results;
