Bedok, Singapore Blacksmith Production Pte Ltd Full time

In our current AWS Architecture Framework, there are two environments:
1. Production (Private Subnet with 2 availability zones - 2 EC2 with load balancer) + AWS RDS with same VPC;
Images and file are using Amazon Elastic File System (EFS) and mount it to both production server.
2. Development (Private subnet with 1 availability zone - 1 EC2 for testing)

DEPLOYMENT
Currently, Jenkin tool has been used to deploy to the Development and Production servers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Streamline manual tasks, repetitive procedures, and workflows by implementing automation solutions. This encompasses the automation of build, test, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Adopt DevOps practices and achieve CI/CD outcomes using containerization but the current architecture should be followed to create new containerization CI/CD by using fargate, ECS, Service, Task, Codebuild, CodeDepoy, Pipline in AWS service.
- Integrate the most appropriate security practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle, to ensure a secure and robust end-to-end process.
- The deployment of automation should also display a high degree of repeatability, cost efficiency, traceability, and ease of use.
- Be the main driver for environments management, logging and monitoring.
- Manage, optimize, and track related expenses.
- This job will require on-going support after initial tasks.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Degree in Computer Engineering, Science, IT or equivalent.
- Min 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Working Knowledge of using DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker,Git, AWS CodeDepoy, AWS Codebuild, AWS ECS, AWS EKS, AWS Fargate, AWS Pipline).
- Proficient in one of the following programming languages along with a working knowledge of the others - C++, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), PHP, Python.
- Broad and deep experience of AWS Cloud platform and services.
- Experience in Linux, Amazon platforms.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills. Able to collaborate effectively with developers, operations personnel, and other stakeholders.
- Possess good analytical skills to identify and resolve issues and address the root causes of problems.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the DevOps space.
- Familiar with continuous delivery systems (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Drone).
- Familiar with cloud services (Azure).
- Knowledge of tools such as Grafana, ELK, Prometheus, Thanos.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 22 per week
