Full-time Waiter/waitress

**The Job**
- Maintain cleanliness of the outlet promptly and according to proper sanitation standards
- Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as serviettes and silverware
- Attend to guests’ requests in a prompt and professional manner, serve glasses of plain water in the process
- Advise customers on menu choices and make recommendations
- Take orders from customers for food or beverages
- Serve food and beverages to guests in an unobstructing and professional manner
- Manage reservations and walk-ins
- Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
- Respond to complaints promptly and take appropriate courses of service recovery actions to turn unhappy patrons into return guest
- Collect payments from customers
- Clean tables after customers have finished dining

**Requirements**:

- Can converse in simple English
- Able to read basic menu in English
- Basic knowledge on taking food orders via technology devices (E.g. tablet)
- Must be prepared to perform shift duties and work on weekends and public holidays

- Workplace at Fairway Café (non-halal) at NSRCC Kranji (50 Neo Tiew Lane 3)
- Staff transport provided at Kranji MRT station
- 5-day work week (Mon to Sun)
- Rotating Shifts: 6:30am to 3:30pm, 6:45am to 7:45pm, 10:45am to 7:45pm
- Accommodation not provided
- Uniform and shift allowance (for 6:30am shift) provided
