Our client is partnering with us to identify a dynamic and analytical Financial Analyst to join their growing finance team. _

**Key Responsibilities**

**Budgeting & Forecasting**
- Partner with various departments to develop comprehensive annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Assist in preparing budget guidelines, assumptions, and financial templates for management reviews.
- Analyze budget submissions, highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
- Monitor ongoing budget performance and prepare variance reports with clear insights and explanations.

**Financial Analysis & Reporting**
- Collect and analyze financial data to evaluate company performance and highlight areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present financial reports including budget vs actual, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Track and monitor financial metrics such as profitability, liquidity, and operating ratios, offering actionable recommendations for management.
- Manage capital expenditure (Capex) budget, monitor commitments, track actual spend, and perform variance analysis.
- Support cash flow management processes and reporting.

**Financial Modelling & Strategic Decision Support**
- Build robust financial models to assess new business opportunities, investments, and strategic projects.
- Perform scenario analysis and evaluate ROI for new ventures or major business decisions.
- Provide clear, data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on financial modelling.

**Process Improvement & Financial Systems**
- Identify and recommend opportunities to streamline financial processes and reporting systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance system capabilities and automation initiatives.
- Participate in system implementation, upgrades, and testing to support financial operations.

**Other Responsibilities**
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned by management.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial statement analysis.
- Proficient in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis using Excel and financial software/tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Able to present complex financial data in a clear, concise, and impactful manner.
- Self-driven, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to think strategically and influence stakeholders.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
