The person in this role will be a senior data architect with extensive data modeling experience who will lead the designing, implementing, testing, and deploying of data management environments (data warehouses, data marts, etc.) to meet business process requirements using Oracle, Informatica and other technologies as appropriate. Experience with building high quality Business Intelligence solution is a big plus.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the Datawarehouse Life Cycle for large scale sales and marketing data warehouses and reporting data marts.
- Lead the delivery process across 3-4 client engagements helping to deliver world-class business and technology solutions
- Experience in delivering at least 1 data warehouse/data lake programs on cloud technologies is must.
- Exposure to agile delivery methodology is desirable.
- Provide leadership in data analysis and logical/physical modeling and design.
- Use best practices to design the datawarehouse (star schema), test plans, ETL, reports.
- Guide the project teams in implementing the design.
- Set standards for operations, programming and security.
- Develop and maintain data management standards and conventions, data dictionaries, data element naming standards and data dictionary metadata standards.

In addition, this person will help lead a firm-wide initiative in improving ZS’ IT capability for clients
- Contribute to ZS IT capability building knowledge creation.
- Coach, mentor, and conduct training programs in data modeling, data warehousing, AWS, cloud tech and other IT topics.
- Play active role in developing and growing the practice.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's/master's degree with specialization in Computer or IT or other computer related disciplines.
- 10+ years of relevant consulting-industry experience working on medium-large scale technology solution delivery engagements.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading delivery of one or multiple projects;
- Experience of working with cloud technologies and Big Data technologies.
- Have hands on experience in writing MapReduce jobs in one of the following - Java, Python, etc.
- Strong understanding of cloud services. Cost management and security.
- Experience in working on Cloudera distribution is preferable
- Experience with development on AWS (Amazon web services) is preferable
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form.
- Assist/be involved in the selling process by writing proposals and giving product demos.
- Significant supervisory, coaching and hands-on project management skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Ability to work within a virtual (off-shore) team environment and contribute to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects.
- Hands-on experience with analytical tools, languages, or libraries (e.g. R, Mahout) will be an added advantage
- Nice to have experience in JavaScript & Angular JS
- Experience in coding in Java - preferable
- Experience in Linux/Unix scripting is preferable
