**About the Role**:
We are looking for a driven, creative and collaborative communications professional with at least 4 years of proven track record in building and executing PR programmes locally and regionally. These include corporate communications, media relations, crisis comms, reputation building and internal comms.

You will be part of GetGo’s highly energetic and dynamic Brand team. As our Senior Communications Specialist, you will be shaping the brand’s identity and presence through our public communications. You will manage and improve all our communications flows, within and outside of our company and be responsible for promoting a positive public image of our company.

**Day to Day Activities**:

- Be the PR counsel and go-to adviser to the leadership team, managing all aspects of executive communication and profiling opportunities.
- Leading our crisis communication plan
- Streamline copy across our different channels (for e.g., app, website, social media) to ensure one singular brand voice
- Undertake regular research to assist with wider editorial projects and deliver content strategies, which can include conducting surveys and/or interviews
- Proofread and fact-check copy for brand voice, style, quality and accuracy of the information presented
- Coordinate external and internal communications flow
- Collaborate with internal teams, i.e. Content, Community and Growth team, to execute campaigns and support copywriting while keeping the brand voice consistent

**About You**:

- Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communication, English, Media Studies or Journalism
- At least 4 years of experience in copywriting or public communications-related field
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Must have a high level of adaptability and flexibility, as well as the ability to function effectively in a high-growth, fast-moving startup environment.
- Sharp eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
- A conceptual thinker who can translate ideas into communication solutions
- Knowledge of content marketing and analytics would be advantageous
- A good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in working in the technology industry is a plus, as well as experience crafting statements for issues/crises.
- An exceptional storyteller with a strong ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with key stakeholders and contribute towards the dominance of GetGo’s share of voice in the industry will be vital.
