**About the job**

Asia Community Foundation is a Singapore-based charitable organisation that supports individuals, families, and institutions as their trusted partner in purposeful philanthropy. Established in 2022 by a group of philanthropists from Asia Philanthropy Circle, Asia Community Foundation (ACF) was born out of the pressing need for a regional platform to facilitate cross-border giving in Asia.

Our mission is to promote purposeful giving in Asia by connecting donors and nonprofits to achieve greater results than they could on their own. As a community, we believe that we can create positive change and address some of the most pressing socioeconomic and environmental issues facing Asia today.

**About the role**

The intern would support the Director of Donor Relations (currently covered by the CEO) in designing and executing a new marketing campaign to acquire new donors and clients for ACF. The intern would also support the Director in a few philanthropy advisory engagements for new philanthropists who are either ultra high net-worth individuals or families, or medium to large sized companies.

The work for this role would lead to growing ACF’s community of new givers who will be enabled to grow and fulfil their philanthropy aspirations by giving bigger, faster and better. This in turn would help promising and high-impact nonprofits Asia be in a better position to accelerate their positive impact in addressing the multiple social and environmental challenges in Asia.

**Key Responsibilities are: (percentage of time)**
- Research on fresh lead prospects who can be approached as potential new donors (15%)
- Review donor acquisition statistics and design new marketing strategies based on past data on what worked and what did not work (20%)
- Support the philanthropy advisory team in consulting engagements with new philanthropists who seek to grow their philanthropy aspirations (35%)
- Execute at least one new marketing campaign (10%)
- Help ensure filing and documentation is up to date (10%)
- Prepare donor profiles and take notes of meetings (10%)

**Desired Skills, Experience and Qualities**
- Interest in social and environmental impact
- Prior experience in the impact sector is preferred
- Service oriented mindset
- Able to pick up new topics quickly, grasp ideas on the go, and synthesis quickly.
- Strong research and writing skills
- Alignment with the vision and mission of ACF
