Director, Apac Treasury

**About our group**:
The Treasury team is built on trust, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking to build a best-in-class treasury team that will not only safeguard Seagate’s cash but provide the necessary treasury services to the rest of the company by:

- Providing access to Seagate finance teams with the necessary treasury tools
- Collaborating with other treasury teams and external finance teams with regards to Treasury functions
- Continuous improvement on processes and procedures to adapt to changing environments.
- Dealing with sensitive information with upmost care

This role will oversee all aspects of cash management for the Asia-Pacific region to support the business needs and working capital management.

This position will oversee a team of treasury professionals who are in Singapore.

**About the role - you will**:

- Oversee Asia-Pacific treasury operations and help develop strategies to maximize efficiencies, interest income, and minimize costs.
- Work closely with tax and regional accounting teams to ensure treasury operations comply with any tax or accounting restrictions.
- Manage policies and corresponding procedures around cash management, banking operations and investment activities to enhance operational efficiency, support working capital needs, appropriately manage risk.
- Drive the process to forecast and report on the company’s quarterly free cash flow, including presenting to finance leadership, including the Chief Financial Officer.
- Refine and improve cash management and cash forecasting process improvement through automation and cross-functional process refinement.
- Oversee and assist in maintaining banking relationships in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Anticipate cash needs and work with WW Treasury Group and Capital Markets Treasury Group to recommend optimal means for raising funds through debt, equity, or changes in company policy that impact the amount of working capital required to run the business.
- Responsible for all Asia-Pacific SOX controls and ensuring compliance for treasury operations.

**Your experience includes**:

- Prior corporate treasury experience required, including management cash flow forecasts.
- Investment banking or capital markets experience would be beneficial.
- Management experience would be vital.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience.
- Experience with treasury and ERP systems (e.g., Integrity, Oracle, SAP).
- Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Broad understanding of finance and accounting concepts.

The Shugart site (named after Seagate’s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center.
