NTUC LearningHub (LHUB) was corporatised on 1 August 2004. Initially set up in 1982 as the NTUC Computer Training Centre, a division under the Skills Development Department of the NTUC Administration and Research Unit, the organisation has evolved to meet the burgeoning training needs of Singaporeans to continuously keep pace with the dynamic business economy.
DESIGNATION : Workplace Literacy Associate Trainers
RESPONSIBILITIES
**_NTUC LearningHub_** has immediate vacancies for Workplace Literacy trainers to conduct training in Workplace Literacy modules on assignment or short term contract basis.
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent command of the English language
- Ability to teach learners of different abilities and backgronds
- Familiar with Microsoft Office tools
- Prior experience in teaching Workplace Literacy is an advantage
**Requirements**:
- Prepared to train at different training locations
- Able to conduct evening and weekend training
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to use Zoom or Microsoft Teams proficiently is an advanatage
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Professional Qualifications:
Combo 1: Must have at least GCE O Levels B3 in English + CELTA or TESOL*(Minimum 100 hours of F2F instruction (with online learning component permissible) AND minimum 6 hours of supervised classroom practicum component) + At least 1 year of teaching / training experience
Combo 2:Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Linguistics OR Bachelor’s Degree in English OR NIE Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (General) with English as a Teaching Subject + ACTA/ ACLP + At least 1 year of teaching / training experience
