**About the role**:
Building on the foundations already in place, the role of the internal communicator is to develop and implement internal engagement communication strategy.

This role will help shape how the organisation engages with our employees in the APAC region and ensure a consistent reinforcement of MUFG’s culture and values, aligned closely with our external stakeholders’ communications. The internal communicator will support and drive enterprise executive communications including supporting the CE for the region.

The role will develop and deliver the bank’s internal communication and engagement strategy to raise the awareness and visibility of the bank’s strategic intent and achievements, promote credibility and increase levels of employee engagement

**Responsibilities**:

- A trusted advisor to management/leadership team in Asia on internal engagement and communications related topics
- To effectively manage the budget for any internal communications platforms and tools
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders internally.
- Work in partnership with colleagues across the region to support the implementation of regional internal and culture projects.
- Identify opportunities for management in regional HO or branches and enable them to reach out and engage their people, to raise their respective local engagement.
- Responsible for managing (objective setting & performance management), developing (coaching, career progression & training) for Direct Reports

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree qualified
- At least 10 years of experience with at least 4 years in corporate communications with regional coverage
- Strong communication skills to work with many others in the organisation.
- Ability to rally support and engage with senior leaders who are the champions of the various causes.
- Creative and exceptional content developer - either for executive messaging and speeches, presentation scripts, as well as change/ engagement / informative messages to colleagues across the region.
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences with the ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
