Star Information Systems is looking for the best qualified local talent to strengthen our Singapore-based R&D team. We are developing the next state-of-the-art STAR Enterprise Asset Management system for the maritime and energy sectors.

Our R&D team is looking for a highly qualified Technical Writer to strengthen our local capacity. This is an opportunity to join a compact, experienced, and very agile team and to take part in the process from idea to live system and beyond.

As our Technical Writer you will be a contributing member of our development team and participate in the team’s workshops and discussions.

Your main responsibility is to bring about requirement specifications to document the team’s decisions and as a starting point for the test team to build test cases.

You will be working with authoring tools and drawing tools, wireframing and prototyping tools as well as Atlassian Jira and Confluence.

The work will span from early sketches all the way to end user and system documentation, and to create informative texts as the baseline for marketing activities. Implicitly you will need to work the new software, and by that you will contribute to our continuous test effort.

You will maintain a tidy and well-structured archive of all documentation artifacts.

You have a few years of experience working as technical writer in agile teams.

**Requirements**:

- Well versed in software prototype, wireframe, authoring tools
- Proficiency in English, CERF C1 or ILR Level 4
