Pet Shop Supervisor

We are looking for a hands-on and animal-loving Pet Shop Supervisor to oversee the daily operations on the shop floor. You’ll make sure our puppies are well cared for, customers have a great experience, and the shop stays clean and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
- **Customer Care**: Welcome customers, assist with puppy viewings, answer basic questions, and provide product or care recommendations.
- **Puppy Care**: Feed, clean, and monitor puppies daily. Play, socialize, and ensure their overall wellbeing. Report any health concerns quickly.
- **Basic Grooming**: Carry out simple grooming tasks such as brushing, bathing, drying, and nail trimming.
- **Shop Upkeep**: Keep the shop neat, tidy, and presentable at all times, including puppy playpens and grooming areas.
- **Team Support**: Guide junior staff on puppy handling, cleaning routines, and customer service.
- **Inventory Support**: Assist in unpacking deliveries, stocking shelves, and reporting low stock to the manager.
- **Documentation Support**: Help with tidying and filing documents as directed by the manager.
- **Promotion Support**: Take photos or videos of puppies for social media updates when needed.
**Requirements**:
- Requirements
- Genuine love for animals, especially puppies.
- Previous experience in retail, pet care, or customer service is a plus.
- Comfortable with handling puppies and doing basic grooming.
- Reliable, hardworking, and attentive to detail.
- Friendly personality with good communication skills.
- Physically fit to handle cleaning, lifting, and caring for puppies.
- **Must be able to work on weekends and Public Holidays.**
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 44 per week
