The Policy & Planning department in SBF engages and partners with stakeholders from businesses, trade associations and chambers, and government agencies to co-develop policy positions and advocate for pro-enterprise policies to support the needs of the Singapore business community.

The Manager plays a key supporting role in developing policy recommendations and driving partnerships through key engagement activities with external stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the development of policy papers and recommendations concerning issues of interest and concern to the business community. These topics include but are not limited to macroeconomic review and emerging opportunities, talent development and workforce resilience, and sustainability and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) priorities.
- Work with the business community and relevant stakeholders on collaboration initiatives or projects for ecosystem and industry development.
- Conceptualise and organise key events such as ministerial dialogues, fireside chats, and company visits to facilitate engagement and interaction between private and public sector stakeholders.
- Support the review of SBF’s strategic direction and increase the visibility of SBF’s corporate achievements to better articulate our value to our stakeholders and members.

**Job Requirements**
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the private or public sector on policies related to businesses or in policy development roles will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of and interest in the key concerns and challenges of the Singapore business community, especially SMEs.
- Awareness of government policies and programmes to support businesses.
- Proactive and possess the drive and resourcefulness to come up with meaningful recommendations.
- Able to work well in a team and as an individual contributor.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
