We are looking for an Associate with international & EMEA hospitality and luxury residential & commercial project experience to join our HBA Architecture team in Singapore. The Associate reports directly to Partners of HBA Architecture.

Our Singapore office is conveniently located in CBD area and easily accessible with any public transportation.

**Job Summary**:
As an Associate, you will lead and oversee the design process from concept to completion. You would take a project leader role and have demonstrable experience in leading international hospitality and / or luxury residential projects. Strong design and technical background are assumed for this position. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive projects from concept through completion while mentoring junior staff and maintaining client relationships.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Design & Project Leadership**:

- Reporting to Partners/Directors on all project related tasks
- Lead and oversee multiple large-scale hospitality / resorts / luxury residential projects, ensuring design integrity, technical quality, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with HBA Partners, principals, clients, consultants, and contractors to develop innovative and sustainable design solutions.
- Review and approve design documents, construction drawings, and - specifications for compliance with codes and standards.
- Resolve complex design and technical challenges with creative and practical solutions.

**Client & stakeholders management**:

- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships
- Coordinate/manage clients, operators and/or consultants
- Assist Partners/Directors on BD and contract related tasks
- Participate in design charettes/workshops as required
- Present to client/consultants and/or stakeholders on key aspects of design
- Participate in design charettes/workshops as required

**Team Management & Mentorship**:

- Supervise and mentor project teams, including architects & junior designers & interns
- Foster a collaborative and innovative studio culture.
- Develop design directions from Partners/Directors and assign tasks to team members
- Lead design team in production of presentations and reports

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch/M.Arch).
- **Licensure**:Licensed Architect required; ARB / RIBA Part 3 equivalent

**Experience**:

- 12+ years of progressive experience in architecture
- Must have hospitality and / or luxury residential and commercial project work experience
- Must have experience in holding an Associate position in international design studio
- Hospitality / Residential & commercial project experience in EMEA region
- Demonstrable project experience in KSA / Dubai
- Demonstrable project experience of RIBA Stage 1-7
- Demonstrable work experience in historical restoration projects or previous project experience in UK grade II listed buildings or similar types.
- Experience in designing on Revit

**Software Proficiency**:

- Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, Grasshopper

**Language & communication**:
Fluent or close to native level in English (verbal & written); Ability to present in English fluently with international clients in EMEA regions.
