**In this role you are required**:
1. Ensure efficient sorting, retagging and/or tagging of bags and thereafter, transferring them to correct trolleys and containers.
2. Check and ensure that containers and doors/flaps are properly secured and baggage is towed to the correct aircraft on time. All Baggage Delivery/Acknowledgement Forms and Container Record Cards must be completed and submitted.
3. Notify and alert the BS when there is less than minus 15 minutes to estimated time of departure (ETD) for baggage dispatch to the aircraft.
4. Notify and alert the BS as when there is an exceptionally large/odd sized baggage or a trolley load of loose baggage to be sent at minus 30 minutes to ETD to the aircraft.
5. Brief all contract staff assigned to the flights on their duties and special requirements for the flights.
6. Ensure that all discharged baggage is accurately, properly and speedily offloaded onto the correct arrival conveyor belts. Ensure that transit baggage is reloaded into the transfer containers.
7. Record the baggage presentation times for all flights allocated to the arrival conveyor belts. Press the first and last buttons of the Baggage Message Input System (BMIDS) for the recording of the baggage presentation times.
8. Ensure that all fragile and odd-sized items are handled with care.
9. Oversees the prompt and efficient presentation of passengers’ checked baggage on arrival claim without undue delay.

10. Ensures all mishandled, unclaimed and offloaded baggage (including items found and security items retrieved from passengers) be restored and returned to its rightful owners expeditiously.

11. Lodge all arrival claim reports and reply to investigation on complaints

12. Liaise with CAAS on discrepancies encountered at the baggage claim areas and SOCC on delays on baggage presentation

13. Assist with customer enquiries and grievances

14. Ensure all bags removed timely from arrival belts to ensure no incidents of bags overflowing from arrival belts

15. Perform any other adhoc duties

1. Able to read, write and communicate in English

4. A team player with good communication skills and analytical skills

5. Comfortable with rotating shift work
