Internal Communications Associate Manager, Apac

The Internal Communications Associate Manager, APAC is responsible for developing proactive and reactive APAC communications, campaigns and initiatives that educate and engage our workforce in the region on the company's mission, vision, strategic priorities and key cultural moments. The internal communications team's purpose is to inspire our employees to do their best work every day and this role is central to that. This role reports to the Head of Internal Communications, APAC and plays an important part in helping to connect employee work to our vision and mission by partnering with leaders and crafting stories about our local impact, ranging from how we support small to medium businesses and the newest product experiences we're building that meaningfully improve people's lives, to how we're addressing the social issues we are at the heart of in APAC.
- Support the delivery of campaigns, initiatives and narratives that drive understanding of and commitment to company-wide initiatives and priorities through the creation of communications plans, targeted written communications and live events.
- Develop messaging to localize and support dissemination of company-wide announcements and programs across all teams in the region.
- Lead internal communications planning for key organisations and initiatives.
- Bring Meta’s long-term vision for the metaverse to life for our people in the region and showcase local innovation stories across employee events and internal channels.
- Lead content development in partnership with key departments, including script writing and production.
- Lead execution and event production of our bi-monthly live employee series that connects our employees to the most important matters impacting our region.
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline, with experience in storytelling and proactive communications.
- 6+ years experience working in internal communications or executive communications.
- Understands and customizes communications for a global audience, using multiple channels and mediums.
- Experience working cross-functionally in different job functions.
- Experience with events, logistics and various types of creative content development.
- Experience working with leaders and building consensus among multiple internal stakeholders.
- Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously and working autonomously.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, highly-matrixed organization.
- Self-starter that thrives in a collaborative environment where you must partner cross-functionally.
- Exceptionally organized and detail oriented, capable of managing numerous projects and work streams end-to-end, with a keen sense of prioritization and ability to consistently produce high-level work.
- Experience in supporting executives, developing great stories and executing communication plans and virtual event production.
