Futures Operations, Commodities and Global Markets

We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our growing Futures team in Singapore, as part of our wider Commodities and Global Markets business. This team oversees the daily operation of our SGX Clearing Membership, reconciliations for the global exchanges that we clear. Your responsibilities as an Analyst here would include:

- Posting of trade allocations and clearing for all SGX trades
- Face off for APAC Carry Brokers
- Exchange and Broker Reconciliations
- Perform T+1 trade amendments and giveups
- Position Transfers and Limit Monitoring
- Preparation of regulatory reports to be submitted to SGX/MAS
- Investigate and resolve SGX and carry broker breaks
- Monitoring of all trades booked to suspense / holding and average price accounts and ensure timely escalation
- Ensure that all controls are strictly enforced in a timely and effective manner

As Operational excellence is vital to our business, you will provide the highest level of operational support and service to the business and ensure that procedures are up to date and reviewed on a periodic basis. Continuous review/monitor of workflow and strive for efficiencies in time, costs and service levels is essential and you will also be required to work on operations related projects and will need to be able to influence and manage stakeholders accordingly whilst driving projects through to completion.

What you’ll bring to this role:

- Strong Control/Process orientated mindset with a keen attention to details.
- Ability to consider regulatory framework along with day-to-day operations and understands criticality of escalations.
- Excellent Excel, Access and macros skillset is required.
- A confident team player with a proven ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Capable of digesting large quantities of information and formulate appropriate action plans.
- Able to prioritise and identify / address key risks and issues.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential, a second language is a benefit.
