A senior teacher who is responsible for nurturing and educating young children in a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.

**Job description**:
1. Implementing age-appropriate educational activities and lessons.

2. Promoting social, emotional, and intellectual development through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and other interactive methods.

3. Assisting children with development of basic skills such as counting, letter recognition and fine motor skills.

4. Observing and evaluating children's behavior, progress, and learning abilities.

5. Collaborating with parents or guardians to address any concerns or provide updates on their child's development.

6. Maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment.

7. Ensuring the well-being and safety of all children in their care.

8. Guiding children in developing good habits, such as hygiene, sharing, and following routines.

9. Providing positive reinforcement, encouragement, and support to promote self-esteem and confidence.

10. Collaborating with other teachers and staff members in order to maintain a healthy working environment.

11. Organise annual events such as Chinese New Year, Sport Day, Children's Day, etc.

**Requirements**:
1. Education and Certification : Diploma in Early Childhood.

2. Experience: At least 3 years prior experience working with young children in a preschool setting.

3. Patience and Communication Skills: communicate clearly and engage children in a positive manner.

4. Be able to communicate effectively with parents and/or guardians

5. Creativity and Flexibility: possess creativity to design engaging and stimulating activities for children, flexible in adapting their teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and individual needs

6. Organization and Time Management: Effective organizational and time management skills for managing a classroom and planning educational activities. Preschool teachers should be able to create and follow schedules, maintain records, and manage resources effectively

7. Physical Stamina: physically fit with the stamina to actively engage with children throughout the day
