Location: North Are you an expert in fire safety systems with a knack for training and development? We are looking for a **Marine Fire Safety Instructor**to train company's technicians on the installation, maintenance, operation, and testing of marine fire safety equipment. **Key Responsibilities**: - Deliver hands-on training sessions to company technicians on marine fire safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, suppression systems, and personal protective equipment. - Develop and update training materials tailored to the specific needs of technicians, focusing on equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and regulatory compliance. - Ensure technicians are proficient in the use and upkeep of marine fire safety systems by conducting practical demonstrations and assessments. - Stay updated on advancements in fire safety technology and international regulations to keep training content current and relevant. - Monitor and maintain training equipment to ensure functionality and safety. - Provide post-training evaluations and feedback to help technicians continually improve their skills. - Maintain thorough records of training sessions, attendance, and assessment results for compliance and internal review. **Requirements**: - Certification in marine fire safety, fire protection, or a related field. - Practical experience in installing, maintaining and testing marine fire safety systems. - Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including IMO and SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea). - Excellent communication and instructional skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics. - Proven ability to engage and effectively train technical staff.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate training records.
