Senior Associate, Platform Strategy

Airwallex is looking for a Senior Associate, Platform Strategy who can use their analytical skills to shape our sales strategy and analytics. You will be responsible for equipping senior leadership with a deeper understanding of the health of the Platform business across pricing, forecasting, and sales analytics.

As an early member of the Global Platform Strategy & Business Operations team, you’ll wear many hats and directly contribute to the direction of Airwallex's Platform strategy and building our function. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with our strategy, marketing, and sales teams to contribute to high-impact initiatives including owning our pricing models, building scalable forecasting processes and driving billing and incentives analysis This role is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of an evolving team during hyper-growth.

**What you will do**:

- Deliver pricing analysis for the enterprise business, including owning our pricing models (Google Sheet models), understanding our product costs and assessing various products’ commercial models
- Drive competitor pricing analysis across different products and regions
- Lead our global forecasting and annual planning processes to enable leaders to build a predictable business
- Recommend and analyse sales process metrics to better understand the health of the Platform business and make recommendations for improvement across the sales process
- Develop automated processes and scalable Google Sheet models to calculate quarterly incentives and billings
- Collaborate with regional strategy and sales teams across various projects
**What you will bring**:

- Advanced Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets modeling capabilities
- High attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Self-starter mentality with a high degree of motivation to understand root causes and deliver successful plans
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with commercial leaders a plus
- Salesforce experience a plus
- SQL and Looker experience a plus
- A “do what it takes” attitude to own and execute high quality outcomes
- Ability to adjust on the fly to new demands; sense of urgency and prioritisation
- Track record of collaborating across teams
- Start-up & fintech experience a plus
- Experience in banking, corporate strategy, sales operations, management consulting, finance a plus
- Tertiary education (Bachelor’s degree or other in either commerce, Econ, Management, Engineering or similar)
