**Details of the Division and Team**:
The Deutsche Bank Chief Security Office (CSO) provides information and physical security protection Group-wide and end-to-end, in accordance with the Group’s Risk Appetite. As part of the First Line of Defence, CSO develops and drives the implementation and operationalization of the information and physical security strategy and ensures that Deutsche Bank’s assets and people are appropriately protected.

This position is part of the CSO team in Asia Pacific*, which acts an extended arm of the global organization in the region. As the Location/Country CISO for Hong Kong, the role holder is responsible for all information security-related matters for Deutsche Bank entities in for Hong Kong. Being part of a regional team, this position also supports regional projects including but not limited to reporting, security awareness, and taking on additional locations as the location CISO.
- Asia Pacific comprises the following supported locations: Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- Play the role of Location/Country Chief Information Security Officer for for Hong Kong, and participate in any regulatory engagement alongside the corresponding country management.
- Coordinate and track regulatory development, engagements and requests in the area of information security within Asia Pacific, and support their execution in an effective, efficient and timely manner with a focus on Greater China Region.
- Provide the relevant Asia Pacific input, in terms of both the operating environments and regulatory regimes in the countries where the Bank has a presence, to shape global coporate and information security related principles, policies, procedures, and programs.
- Help shape global information security related principles, policies, procedures, and programs by providing the Asia Pacific and Country perspectives and requirements, especially where there are regulatory impacts and demands.
- Work with the rest of CSO Asia Pacific silos to ensure that the services provided to Asia Pacific countries are compliant to applicable regulations.
- Assist Head of CISO Asia Pacific in dealing with information security related requests, and where necessary directing them to the appropriate CISO Asia Pacific silos for resolution.
- Represent CISO Asia Pacific in committees and meetings as directed by the Head of CISO Asia Pacific.
- Ensure all Information Security policies relevant to the geographic area of coverage are aligned to local regulations; this includes the development of any local policies to meet compliance.
- Ensure all operational delivery is in accordance with bank standards and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain local stakeholder relationships to leverage engagement for the benefit of the organization.

**Your skills and experience**:

- At least six (6) years experience in Financial Services, specializing in Information Security, IT Audit, IT Compliance and/or Technology Risk Management.
- Mandatory to possess at least 1 professional level certification as per HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework.
- CSX-S, CSX-E, CISA, CISSP, CCSP or equivalent
- Strong project management and organizational skills - ability to reprioritize as the situation demands and meet key project and business delivery dates, often in a short time-frame, whilst balancing a portfolio of ad hoc / ongoing activity. Ability to manage remote teams to ensure that task delivery and standards remain optimal
- Strong leadership, relationship, communication, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable interacting with senior management and discussing critical issues
- Proven initiative; self starter; highly motivated; assertive
- Strong knowledge of Information Security, the management of IT risks and regulations
- Strong knowledge of risk management and sound business practices
- Willingness to be available at any hour and to deal with active operational issues especially in a crisis
- Working knowledge of Visual Basic
