**Your team**:

Pictet has been present in Singapore for more than 25 years where it employs more than 200 people. We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our Legal team in Singapore. As a key member of our Legal team, you will play an important role in advising on legal matters and rendering support to internal stakeholders in complying with legal and regulatory requirements.

**Your role**:

- Provide legal advice and support to various business lines and ongoing operations at the Bank.
- Provide legal advice and support on credit and security matters and issues.
- Review and update banking documents, draft and review contracts, agreements (whether internally, with clients or third parties), marketing materials and offer documents.
- Advise and manage new/special projects (new business offering or initiatives, products or services etc), new/revised internal directives and draft attendant service level agreements etc.
- Manage internal stakeholders and maintain key internal relationships to foster a positive corporate culture through communications, trainings and to provide Pictet staff with timely and pragmatic advice on day-to-day issues, always making quick turnaround a priority.
- Assist in handling of client complaints and disputes, if any.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic reports and materials to be presented to Head Office and Senior Management.
- Conduct trainings on legal documentation and potential issues for employees.
- Closely follow/monitor legal developments to provide advice/updates to Head Office and Senior Management.

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or JD)
- At least 8 years of experience in a law firm or in-house counsel role, with a focus on private banking or financial services.
- Excellent knowledge of Singapore law and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Meticulous, dynamic, with an excellent team spirit and integrity
- This position requires a proactive legal professional who can collaborate effectively with diverse teams and provide strategic legal guidance across multiple domains.
