**Responsibilities**:

- Propose technical and creative business solutions in support of sales activities.
- Act as Professional Services / Consulting role that is client facing and involve in sales scenarios to present technical and business aspects of proposed solutions to a C-Level audience.
- Design and deliver high quality technical Proof of Concepts for prospective customers
- Assist in the production of RFPs and other proposals to clients.
- Translate BPM requirement specifications into Appian process model prototypes and solutions
- Preparing high level technical specifications for the solutions.
- Design and develop technical solutions on the Appian BPM Suite based on the requirements gathered.
- Design and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry standard technologies including LDAP, Active Directory and other internal systems in the enterprise.
- Design integration requirements with other third-party platforms such as SAP.
- Designing data models.
- Defining architectural & development standards for the project in adherence to Appian and client’s best practices.
- Configure, debug, unit, systems, integration test and document new flow but not limited to forms, reports, underlying logic and interface components on development as assigned
- Performing frequent code reviews & ensuring quality of the overall delivery.
- Assist, quality assurance team, system engineers, network engineers and other staff in ways to ensure data integrity, consistency, security and privacy Interacting with customers daily and be the main point of contact for customer.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related study.
- 7 to 10 years of software development experience and minimum 5 years of experience in Appian Design and Development
- Strong experience as a successful Presales Engineer or a Professional Services/Consulting role that is client facing. Must be able to do custom POCs and demos.
- This role demands hands-on experience in Appian BPM with an in-depth knowledge on Process Models, SAIL Interfaces, Web APIs, Sites, Process Models as a Service, Admin Console, Document Management, and Integration of Smart Services.
- Knowledge of records, forms, and reports using Appian’s expression language
- Strong experience in design patterns and transaction management, with a focus on Appian patterns and Appian integrations
- Prior work experience in development of SOAP and Restful web services and integration would be preferred. Appian Certified Lead Developer certification is desirable.
