**FACILITY MANAGER**

**Role Description**

At USDEC, we rely on our state-of-the-art facility, the U.S. Center for Dairy Excellence (CDE), to offer a first-rate experience that communicates the U.S. Dairy story to Southeast Asian-based business-to-business customers and partners. We are seeking an experienced facility manager with a “can-do” attitude to join us on our journey, using his/ her skills to support a great team in providing a one-of-a-kind experience and resource to enhance the trade’s experience with our industry.

In this role, the successful individual will maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures, managing correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and coordinating supply requisitions, and coordinating in-house event hosting logistics. In addition to managing office operations, the role oversees vendor services for the CDE. It is the facility manager’s role to be a service provider to staff and clients while keeping the facility running smoothly. From day one, you’ll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our CDE services and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.

**Objective of this Role**
- Manage logístical requirements of the CDE office operations.
- Administrative tasks required for day-to-day operations
- Negotiate and manage contracts of office service providers necessary to maintain working conditions of the CDE (e.g., janitorial services, utilities, facility maintenance, temp services, etc)
- Responsible for creating, updating, organizing and maintaining files, supplies and processes to support the efficient operations of the CDE.
- Ensure proper and efficient operation of all physical aspects of the facility, and create and sustain a safe and productive environment for occupants
- Assist in managing on-site event supplies and equipment
- Develop and manage scheduling system and reservation requests for utilization of the CDE by visiting USDEC clients for customer meetings and client led activities/events in coordination with in-house USDEC-SG activities.
- Design and implement office policies by establishing standard operating procedures, measuring results against standards, and making necessary adjustments while enforcing for USDEC visitors and staff
- Facilitate and manage process of ordering and importing samples for in-house activities via USDEC-SG secured importer license
- Maintain food safety standards and requirements for the handling food on the premises in accordance with Singapore requirements
- Support the SE Asia regional director and respective staff on strategic priorities to deliver against CDE key performance indicators (KPIs) to USDEC Executive office.
- Responsible for being the primary contact to the building landlord, building manager and building services, as needed, including relevant external agencies (e.g., fire department, Singapore Food Agency (SFA), etc.)

**Qualifications**
- Minimum polytechnic diploma in facilities management, hospitality management, or a related discipline
- Five to eight years of experience in office or hospitality management with event hosting experience a plus
- Exceptional attention to details
- Ability to work independently and in a dynamic environment
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal communications skills and ability to deal effectively with customers, peers and management.

**Reporting Relationships**: The position reports to the USDEC-SG Executive Director and day-to-day accountability to the Southeast Asia Regional Director.

**Location**: This position is located in Singapore.

**Travel**: The position does not require travel.

**Level**: Manager
