**Overview of role/ Principle Responsibilities**
- Assist in managing the Balance Sheet (bank’s liquidity and Market Risk), within the risk appetites approved by the Board and relevant committees. This includes, but is not limited to, the day-to-day management of banks’ assets and cashflow to meet its liability needs as well as to fulfil the regulatory ratios requirement.
- To quote and deal in approved Treasury instruments e.g. Money Market, FX and Swaps as detailed within the Treasury Dealing policy either for client facilitation or to hedge the Bank’s positions.
- To understand regulations, execution and deal implementation processes of all approved Asia equities and Fixed Income and other approved banks’ products.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Adhere to counterparty exposures and Nostro account and relevant credit limits pending to Treasury set by Group Risk
- Assist the department in identifying, monitoring and managing the key risks relating to the team’s activities and processes.
- Strong Excel knowledge to model the bank’s balance sheet position.
- Assist in update and review annual Treasury department and relevant policies
- Assist, execute and implement deals for delegated, customised and advisory portfolios and models.
- Monitor execution and settlement of trades.
- To understand the Best Execution process and Risk Event Reporting procedure.
- Promoting a culture of integrity, high standards of compliance and fair treatment of clients across the Treasury team.

**Essential Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field.
- Bloomberg and Eikon knowledge will be an added advantage
- Strong time management - Able to prioritise effectively
- Team player - Works collaboratively within internal and external stakeholders

**Discharge of Responsibilities**

The role holder shall ensure that his/her responsibilities are performed to the highest levels of integrity, quality and transparency and in a manner most likely to promote the success of Wealth Management and the Schroder Group, in a manner that is sensitive to the risk profile of the regulations and issue(s) at hand.

In discharging his/her responsibilities the individual shall establish appropriate structures for all areas under their control and shall fulfil their key responsibilities in full.
