Position Summary
Asia Pacific is set to be the No.1 growth engine for the Edrington group for the future, and the No.1 Business Unit by value within the Edrington business in the next 10 years.
This role within the Regional Brand Marketing structure is to support the Regional Senior Marketing Manager (RSMM), The Macallan, on delivering a higher ambition on exceptional brand building within the region, and in partnership with the other team members within the Regional Team and local markets.
The primary pillar of responsibility is to:

- Support RSMM to build The Macallan across APAC, consistent with the Global strategy, maximising reach and engagement through transformational marketing that is meaningful and resonates with target consumers in each of the APAC market.
- Elevate The Macallan to an “exceptional” position especially in Asia’s key cities, strengthening Brand Power and elevating key brand attributes.
The Regional Marketing Executive, The Macallan (APAC), is a critical team player with a good understanding within the luxury industry. Has great initiative, proactivity, and executional capability within the Regional Marketing Brand team to ensure delivery of the elevated ambition and the accelerated delivery The Macallan needs to be a No.1 growth engine.
Job Description
- Supports the RSMM during Growth Planning cycle/roadmap for The Macallan: Growth Plans, PSR, AOP, Zero Base Budgeting of Brand Investment, QBR and CBP.
- Support the RSMM with the development of APAC programmes that elevate and amplify the brand along the key touchpoints (BTL on and off trade and at events) specifically around visibility and serve rituals including providing trade marketing guidelines.
- Support the RSMM to deliver excellent local execution of The Macallan campaigns and new product launch strategy in APAC, gathering results from each markets for best practices sharing.
- Supports the planning and development of HNWI experiences for Halo Campaigns for The Macallan and brings joint up planning around the Affinity framework.
- Works in close collaboration with Regional Team members for programme alignment, ensuring it is cohesive and consistent across APAC and in line with Global toolkits and guidelines.
- Able to work on A&P budget for the region and works with RSMM to update and track spend against the various GL/IO codes.
- Supports the RSMM with Global Quarterly Business Reviews, Regional Marketing Monthly, Regional Marketing Community Meetings etc - data analysis and presentation.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 4 years of Marketing or category experience in luxury/spirit/alcohol industry.
- Experience in agency management including event, design and project agencies and vendors.
- Good presentation skill and proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Team player with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Proactive, initiative, positive working attitude and self-improvement mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English/Chinese.
