Tenure-Track Assistant Professor/Associate Professor in Psychology.

Psychology is one of the four major programmes in the School of Social Sciences, together with Sociology, Economics, and Public Policy and Global Affairs. We attract excellent students to our BSocSci, Master and PhD degree programmes and provide them with interdisciplinary training, as well as practical knowledge, emotional competence, and skill sets necessary to dissect and address various global challenges through the lens of biological, clinical, cognitive, cultural, developmental, evolutionary, forensic, health, industrial, neurological, occupational, and social psychology.

We seek a dedicated colleague with the necessary skills to collaborate and strengthen Psychology’s research programmes and teaching portfolios, as well as commit to relevant administration duties. Personal aptitude will be important for this position.
- Essential selection criteria:_
- A PhD in psychology or in a related field.
- A strong research and publication track record commensurate with career stage.
- Experience and interest in teaching Psychology core modules (undergraduate, graduate) commensurate with career stage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and commitment relevant to teaching, pastoral care, and administering the Psychology programme.
- Desirable selection criteria:_
- Specialisation in one or more of the following subfields: forensic Psychology, I/O Psychology, health Psychology, and applied Psychology.
- Research and teaching interests that strengthen and expand Psychology’s research programmes and teaching portfolios.
