**Network Security Engineer**

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing and establish priorities for maintenance, design, development and analysis of network equipment
- Network Equipments will include firewall, routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP.
- Work closely with Technical Lead
- Provide L2 & L3 network operations support
- Respond to incident calls and ensure service level agreements to clients are met
- Ensure compliance to policies and procedures from both internal and clients’ organisation.
- Implement and deploy network Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention System, Secure Web Gateway, Web Application Firewall, Malware Protection Firewall, Malware Protection, Vulnerability and Patch Management
- Assist in gathering customer requirements and present design for customer’s endorsement.
- Assist to prepare and update relevant documentation such as technical design specification, requirement traceability, matrix, design and build document, functional and user acceptance test plans
- Implement system hardening procedures and security features.
- Provide proper hand over of completed implementation projects to customer
- Conduct internal training and/or knowledge transfer to team

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Information System
- At least 2 years’ experience in providing network operation and administration support for Cisco products, i.e. Switches and routers, WLAN/ Palo Alto Network or FortiGate
- Knowledge in network routing, switching technologies and protocols
- Knowledge in network security, load balancing and optimisation technologies
- Experience working with Cisco and Aruba Switches and Routers; Palo Alto Network & FortiGate FWs, is preferred.
- Network and infrastructure security such as Firewall, IPS, IDS, VPN, WAF and content filtering
- Endpoint security and OS hardening
- Fundamental Knowledge on IP networking and operating systems such as Windows, Linux, iOS/iPad and Android OS

**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
