Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Communications & Thought Leadership
- Lead and implement strategic communications plans that align with business objectives and strengthen brand positioning.
- Develop and drive thought leadership initiatives, crafting insightful articles and supporting practice leaders at speaking engagements and events.
- Provide communications support to senior management for high-impact stakeholder engagements, both internal and external.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance communications strategies for greater effectiveness.
Brand Leadership & Content Strategy
- Manage the brand strategy, corporate identity (CI), and messaging framework, ensuring coherence across the business units.
- Develop thematic narratives that reflect our vision and value proposition.
- Explore innovative branding approaches beyond traditional methods.
- Ensure compliance with corporate branding and regulatory standards.
External & Internal Communications
- Manage external communications, ensuring all corporate materials such as presentations and collateral, and media engagements align with core messaging and business objectives.
- Stay ahead of media trends to maximise opportunities for brand visibility and engagement.
- Lead internal communications initiatives, fostering engagement and alignment with company culture and strategic goals.
Creative Content & Editorial Leadership
- Conceptualise, write, and edit high-quality content for corporate publications, digital platforms, and external media.
- Supervise the development of creative content, graphics, and storytelling across multiple channels.
- Conduct research to support thought leadership and communications efforts, ensuring content remains relevant and impactful.
Digital & Social Media Strategy
- Develop and implement a strategic digital and social media plan to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
- Gather and leverage data and insights to optimise digital storytelling and build an active online community.
Corporate Portfolio & Marketing Assets
- Oversee the development and management of corporate portfolios, marketing collaterals, and branding assets for business development and promotional activities.
- Ensure consistency in brand representation across all touchpoints.
Event & Campaign Management
- Lead and oversee the planning of high-impact corporate events, ensuring alignment with branding and business goals.
- Work closely with internal teams and relevant SJ Group’s business lines/units to ensure brand and communications synergy.
Governance & Compliance
- Manage all copyright, intellectual property, and stock photography matters to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external content providers (photographers, artists, designers) to uphold brand standards.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in branding, communications, or related fields, with leadership exposure.
- Strong strategic thinking, storytelling, and content development expertise.
- Proven ability to lead multi-channel communications and branding initiatives at a corporate level.
- Excellent writing, editorial, and media relations skills.
- Experience in digital communications, social media strategy, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across business units.
