Overview:
As an Industry Analyst specializing in IT Security, you will be responsible for researching and analyzing industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes within the IT security and services sector. Your insights will inform product development, strategic planning, and client engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions meet market demands and address emerging threats.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Market Research and Analysis**: Conduct comprehensive research on IT security trends, technologies, and market developments. Analyze data to identify emerging threats, opportunities, and competitive intelligence.**Reporting and Documentation**: Develop detailed reports, whitepapers, and presentations on industry trends, market forecasts, and competitive analysis. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.**Strategic Planning**: Collaborate with product management and development teams to align our security solutions with market needs. Support the development of strategic roadmaps and product/service go to market.-
**Competitive Analysis**: Monitor and evaluate competitor activities, product offerings, and market positioning. Identify gaps and opportunities for differentiation.**Thought Leadership**: Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including blog posts, webinars, and industry conferences. Represent [Your Company Name] as an expert in IT security.**Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with marketing, sales, and analyst teams to ensure alignment on market needs and product strategy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Author research, advisory and content marketing documents
- Perform MarketScape reports (vendor comparisons)
- Engage the client/prospect once a week
- Support all CIS renewals in the quarter
- Support business development for any consulting/CIS
- Speak at client events, industry events and facilitate round tables/panel discussions
- Perform advisory to senior leadership teams from security vendors/services providers
- Support planning and P&L activities

Qualifications:
**Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) is a plus.**Experience**: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an industry analyst or in a similar role within the IT security industry. Experience with market research, data analysis, and report writing is essential.**Technical Knowledge**: Strong understanding of IT security concepts, technologies, and threat landscapes. Familiarity with security frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements.**Analytical Skills**: Proven ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and provide strategic insights. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.**Communication Skills**: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to various audiences.**Interpersonal Skills**: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and engage with clients.**Project Management**: Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
