Job Title: Carpenter

Department: Manufacturing

Reports To: Supervisor

Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and other materials.
- Cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand and power tools.
- Install doors, windows, trim, and other building components.
- Finish carpentry work, including sanding, staining, and painting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople as needed.
- Inspect and maintain tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Carpenter.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of various building materials and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred).

Basic Requirements:

- Tools: Must possess a comprehensive set of hand and power tools necessary for carpentry work. This includes, but is not limited to, saws, hammers, drills, levels, measuring tapes, and safety equipment.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in framing, finishing, and installation. Specific examples of past projects should be provided during the interview process.
- Physical Demands: The position requires physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and stand for extended periods.
