**Engineering Assistant - Failure Analysis**
- Perform failure & material analysis on component and board level using optical microscope, cross-sectioning, deprocessing, X-ray, FTIR, and SEM/EDX techniques.
- Support electrical failure analysis (curve tracer measurement and HIPOT testing).
- Lead failure & material analysis process improvement.
- Responsible for the final consolidation of FA reports.
- Arrange FA process review with engineers and Plant.
- Work closely with engineers for equipment procurement, installations, and commissioning.
- Work with plant facilities to set up/maintain lab facilities.
- Support lab audits (IATF16949, ESD).
- Maintain housekeeping /safety practices/FA machine PM.
- Participate in cost and quality initiatives.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma in material sciences/mechanical engineering/ electrical & electronics engineering or equivalent engineering field.
- Independent and able to work under minimum supervision and eager to learn new things.
- Experience in performing optical microscopes, cross-sectioning, deprocessing, X-ray, FTIR, and SEM/EDX techniques.
- Ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues and vendors.
- Good organizing skills with software skills of Microsoft Excel/Word/PPT.
- Skills in data visualization and data analysis using Power BI, Power apps, Power Automate, Python and SQL will be an advantage.
